Spray foam insulation has become widely respected as the best choice in insulation. Demilec Sealection 500 is an insulation (open cell 1/2 lb) with great sound dampening properties, and the denser variety, BASF Walltite ECO (closed cell 2 lb and environmentally “friendly”), is a moisture air barrier and insulation all in one.
Spray foam is a spray in place product. It will air seal and fill all holes, cracks and crevices. The foam, when sprayed, expands to many times its original volume within seconds.
